Daiki has found out for himself that Alfred State is an excellent school with a friendly environment and helpful professors.

While studying in his home country of Japan, Daiki Kawakami befriended an Alfred State graduate who spoke very highly of the college.

“He said that it’s a really good school and that everyone there is really warm and kind.”

Convinced by his friend, Daiki enrolled in Alfred State’s biological science major – a hands-on program that prepares students to thrive in scientific laboratories, or to continue their education in a variety of science or pre-professional fields. When looking back on his decision to come to Alfred State, Daiki is certain he made the right choice.

“The biological science program has taught me a lot.”

Daiki noted that he really enjoys the hands-on learning experience he gets in his major, which is something he didn’t receive a lot of in Japan.

“Alfred State has a lot of hands-on opportunities.”

Just as he was told by his friend, Daiki has found out for himself that Alfred State is an excellent school with a friendly environment and helpful professors. Now, Daiki recommends Alfred State to other interested students, and feels more prepared for that next step after graduation.

“Alfred State has prepared me for my career.”
