Ross, Angelica, was appointed by former Gov.
George Pataki to serve on the Alfred State
College Council.

Council members serve without
salary as an advisory group to the president of the College. Authority of the Council is in such areas as
regulations governing student conduct, regulations concerning care and
management of campus facilities, review of academic programs, approval of
candidates for college degrees, and selection of the College president.

Ross is a 1981
graduate of Alfred State College where she majored in accounting. As county treasurer, she serves as the county's
chief fiscal officer. She is active in
the Republican Party, both statewide and locally. Ross formerly served as the
finance chair/treasurer of the Alfred State College Development Fund Board.

The Angelica Central School
graduate is the daughter of Ella Louise Ross, and the late James A. Ross.
