Alfred State College is offering automotive parts technology management courses online. Courses are developed to help managers or counter professionals gain knowledge in store operations. These online courses include studies in areas such as inventory control, store layout and design, basic understanding of financials, understanding cataloging, and pricing concepts. Courses may be taken individually for college credit through ASC’s Center for Community Education and Training. Thanks to the “lecture capture” format, students can view an actual full lecture at a time convenient to them. This distance-learning option is not a text-only-based experience but one that reflects working with a faculty member through lectures which have been captured digitally. This online option is a part of the ongoing automotive parts technology program at the college. Courses are available during the fall and spring semesters through ASC’s Center for Community Education and Training. For more information call 1-800-4-ALFRED. Or you may contact Gerry Ives via e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org with any specific questions re: this opportunity.
