John G. Koester, Building Trades, Hornell, is a five-time Grand National Hill Climb champion. Regarded as one of the sport’s top riders, Koester was the first US racer to win all three National AMA Pro Hill Climb titles in a single season.

Career
1980
Joseph McClure, Architectural Engineering Technology, Painted Post, retired March 27, 2020, from Hunt Engineers, Architects, & Land Surveyors. Joe started at Hunt on Feb. 23, 1981, and was formally employed with NYSDOT in the Region 6 area. Through the last 39 years, he has evolved into the digital ages, enhancing his work. He has mastered the two prominent CAD programs: AutoCAD-Civil 3D and MicroStation Inroads.
1987
Adam Steinman, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Richmond, VA, has recently been employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. His role involves design review of very complex, high-speed currency processing equipment.
2000
Julie Wick, Court Reporting, Buffalo, is the official court reporter for the Unified Court System in Buffalo.
2003
Christopher Sinceno, Liberal Arts and Sciences: Social Science, Blythewood, SC, is an officer with the Richland County Sherriff’s Department in South Carolina. Deputy Sinceno works as a K9 officer with K9 Joppie. He was part of the May 15, 2020, Live PD television episode in which a hurt dog was rescued from a drain pipe.
2010
Andrew Rosenberger, Surveying Engineering, Bradford, PA, is a New York and Pennsylvania licensed surveyor who has purchased a local surveying business called Lang Surveying LLC, out of Bradford, PA, which was previously owned by Charles Lang, also an ASC grad.
Rod Streater, Individual Studies, Independence, OH, is employed by the Cleveland Browns in the team’s scouting department.

Robert James Sullivan Jr., Lancaster, SC, passed away April 8, 2020. Robert was employed at the Wellsville campus and retired after many years.
Frank H. Nye, Jr., Lakewood Ranch, FL, passed away Aug. 8, 2020, at his home. Frank spent over 30 years as a professor of art, teaching interior design, ceramics, and art education.
Herbert L. “Herb” Zuschin, Arkport, passed away July 14, 2020. Herb had been employed in the Engineering Department, retiring in 1991.
Nancy M. Hoyt, Hornell, passed away Aug. 2, 2020. She had been employed in the Facilities Department for over 30 years.
Ronald J. “Ron” Putnam, Greenwood, passed away July 16, 2020. Ron was a professor of science at Alfred State College, from which he retired after 30 years.
