There’s nothing like taking a campus tour, giving our mascot Big Blue a hoof bump, and talking with current students. Choose a virtual or on-campus visit to see for yourself. Open Houses are hosted on selected Saturdays and Sundays in October, November, March, and April. Sign up for an upcoming Open House date below. Weekday visits available Monday - Friday by appointment. Also open for tours on many school holidays.

Summer Visit Days
We're excited to offer Summer Visit Days to high school students entering their senior year. This event will include a campus overview, a student panel, guided campus tour, resource tables, and more! Summer Visit Day check-in begins at 9:30 a.m.

Group Visits
Alfred State welcomes groups of all sizes to meet us in-person or virtually!
We would be happy to share all the reasons why your students should consider us with an admissions overview, guided campus tour, and more.
Upon submitting a request, an Admissions staff member will review the preferred date, time, and activities. Once we are able to confirm the visit, an email with a detailed itinerary will be sent.
We will do our best to accommodate your requested date and time. No date for a visit is set until you receive a confirmation from an Admissions staff member.

Open Houses
Come and see for yourself all that Alfred State College has to offer! Prospective students and their families are invited to participate in a variety of sessions, both formal and informal, designed to provide flexibility in visiting areas of student interest.
During your visit you will be able to:
- Receive an overview of Alfred State College and the admissions process.
- Learn more about Life on Campus at Alfred State College and Financing Your Alfred State Education.
- Faculty representatives from all academic areas will be available to provide tours and answer questions.
- Explore our residence halls with an overview and tour.
- Chat with representative from across campus at our information tables.

Accepted Student Days
In the spring, we will host Accepted Student Days, which are designed for admitted students to celebrate their acceptance with the Pioneer family! Connect with current Alfred State students, tour campus, meet with various department representatives, learn more about student life, and get to know some of your future classmates. We’re excited to see you there!

Online Program Information Sessions will resume soon.
Join us for live, online sessions to get all of the information you need before enrolling in one of Alfred State’s online majors.
Online Program Information Sessions are held monthly at 7 p.m. These sessions will assist in answering questions you may have about the admissions, financial aid, transfer, and enrollment processes. We also offer an overview of the platforms that we use for online learning.
