Country musicians to headline Hot Dog Day concert at Alfred State April 16

Alfred State College is excited to announce that country music performers LANCO, Adam Hambrick, and Teddy Robb will perform at the annual Hot Dog Day concert on Thursday, April 16 at Pioneer Stadium.

Gates will open at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $5 for students and $10 for the public and will be on sale at the campus store starting March 16. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event at the stadium for $10.

LANCO continues to pave its course after the success of its two-time platinum, multi-week radio chart-topper “Greatest Love Story” and critically acclaimed gold hit “Born to Love You.” The five-man band’s No. 1 selling debut and coming-of-age album, “Hallelujah Nights,” made LANCO the first country group to debut on the Billboard country albums chart at No. 1 in 10 years with their coming-of-age album.

Hambrick is currently working on his debut album with producers Andrew DeRoberts (James Blunt, Miley Cyrus) and Paul DiGiovanni (Blake Shelton, Jordan Davis). His first single, “Rockin’ All Night Long,” is resonating with country music fans everywhere as it recalls the nostalgic late-night memories made throughout life.

Robb’s debut track, “Lead Me On,” co-written with Ryan Beaver, Matt McGinn, and Aaron Eshuis, has over 30 million worldwide streams to date. His second offering, “Really Shouldn't Drink Around You,” was written by Grammy Award-winning songwriters Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, along with chart-topping songwriter and Old Dominion band member, Trevor Rosen. The song currently has over 30 million streams since its release in January 2019, and impacted country radio in July as Robb’s first official single.

No alcohol or tobacco products, nor any bags (purses, backpacks, etc.) will be permitted inside the stadium for the concert. In the event of inclement weather, the show will take place in the Orvis Activities Center Gymnasium.
