What's new for 2023?

  •  Alfred State is test optional.
  •  We're excited to announce the addition of women’s lacrosse, women’s wrestling and the reinstatement of men’s lacrosse as part of our Division III intercollegiate athletic offerings. Women’s wrestling will start in the 2023-24 school year and both lacrosse programs will begin in the 2024-25 school year.
  •  Digital Media and Animation department has recently acquired a Motion Capture Studio. This will house cutting edge technology for students to animate characters of their own design using live motion, an essential in the game design and 3D animation field.
  •  Our Pioneer Student Center is completing renovations to include a studio to host yoga, Zumba, karate, and fencing classes. The Underground is a space for gaming and trivia night. A barbershop will also be located on the ground floor.
  •  On the Major Videos page, see tours of hands-on labs, hear student testimonials, and meet faculty members. This includes a tour of our civil engineering technology BS major (new for fall 2023)!
  •  Virtually visit campus with our 360° Tour.
