For the eighth year in a row, golfers came together to have fun and support Alfred State College by playing in the school’s annual Pioneers Drive for the Development Fund golf tournament.

The 2022 Alfred State Athletic Hall of Fame class featured former coaches Gina Boyd and Jason Lockner along with football players Tyree Parker and Codera Jackson, track and field athlete Richard Harris, and basketball players Haley Witchella and Patrick “Ice” Smart-El. The 2014-15 women's basketball team was also honored.

Alfred State College masonry alum Brennon Zenoski ’13 has been named a Rochester Builders Exchange Craftsman of the Year.

“This will be my first Hot Dog Day as the new president at ASC, and I already know just how important this tradition is to alumni, faculty, and staff. It will also be a big part of cherished memories for our current students,” stated ASC President Dr. Steven Mauro.

2007 Alfred State College graduate Jeffrey Keyes was recently featured in the Journal of Court Reporting. 

Kathryn Markel, ’81 has been granted emeritus status for her lifetime service and contributions to Alfred State College (ASC).

Kaleb N. Winters, PLS, a 2005 graduate of Alfred State College (ASC), was recently named the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors (NYSAPLS) Surveyor of the Year.

Madison Szpaicher, a 2017 Alfred State College (ASC) sport management graduate, has been able to find a career that combines her love of sports and her desire to help others.

Alfred State College (ASC) is pleased to announce that Mary Perkins is joining the college’s Office of Institutional Advancement. Perkins is the new director of alumni relations.
