Student & Faculty Success

Alfred State faculty and staff continued to achieve success in 2023 while the support and connections of past Pioneers have strengthened the college.

Students shined in 2023 at Alfred State. Not only did they find success in the classroom and labs, but they shined in extracurricular activities.

Increased enrollment and high rankings highlighted 2023 at Alfred State College. New amenities were opened, construction projects continued to improve campus, and success was celebrated in a variety of events.

“Being the Esports Director is a dream come true. I have been the advisor since it was founded and have loved being able to work with students that are passionate about gaming. I am excited to use my previous experience on campus to expand what we have to offer our students and see how Esports will grow.”

Dr. Carrie Cokely has attended a wide variety of classes ranging from automotive, botany, estimating, HVAC, and nutrition during her first semester on campus.

The Alfred State western equestrian team had another strong showing as they finished the 2023 portion of their schedule at Alfred University.
